ABC7’s Stacey Baca moderates annual National Association for Down Syndrome fashion show

CHICAGO (WLS) — The Nationwide Affiliation for Down Syndrome is celebrating 60 years of working to help folks and households dwelling with the situation.

Sunday, they mounted their annual vogue present nearly with a beautiful affair that includes fashions of all ages displaying off the most recent fashions, and sharing the love and expertise of individuals with Down syndrome.

Households from throughout the Chicago area bonded over Zoom to marvel at human magnificence.

The annual vogue present kicked off with a showcasing of expertise.

“Chris Hebein is from Evanston and he has been enjoying the piano since he was 13 years outdated,” one participant introduced.

There was even an Elvis sighting.

“The expertise and exquisite fashions have spent hours of and, after all, their members of the family have helped immensely as effectively,” stated Matt Corso, NADS board president.

As she has for years, ABC7’s Stacey Baca moderated the present, shifting from the very younger to highschool graduates out within the working world, akin to Particular Olympian {golfing} champion Tony Natale.

The occasion included a silent public sale and culminated with extra dance numbers.
